Special Olympics Malta Clinical Directors, formed part of the Healthy Athletes Program at the Winter World Games 2025 in Turin, held between the 13th - 23rd January 2025. The Maltese Delegation formed part of the Fit Feet, Strong Minds, Special Smiles and the Healthy Hearing.

Gilmour Borg, Special Olympics Malta athlete, was one of the keynote speakers at the Opening Ceremony of the Special Olympics Winter World Games 2025 taking place in Turin, Italy, alongside Dr. Tim Shriver, Chairperson of Special Olympics, delivering an inspiring messages of hope and courage to the 1,500 athletes gathered in Turin, Italy, between the 8th and 16th of March 2025.
