An exciting morning full of action as Special Olympics Malta football athletes took part in the Inclusion in Football Festival organised by the Malta Football Association - 1900
Special Olympics Malta has officially launched the Special Olympics European Swimming Open Malta 2026, the first Special Olympics swimming event to be organised at an international level. The games will take place between 10 and 14 September 2026 at the National Pool Complex in Tal-Qroqq, with the participation of more than 400 athletes from 40 countries.
The Ministry for Education, Youth, Sport, Research and Innovation and Special Olympics Malta have signed an agreement marking an important step in the national commitment to inclusive education and the wellbeing of athletes.
The agreement establishes a strategic framework for collaboration, strengthening sport as a means of inclusion, empowerment, and holistic development within the country’s educational ecosystem.
